Recording- Studio one-

Hello, Diego here.

I got the Audiorealism Drum machine yesterday, after trying the demo. I really love the sounds. I'd like to know if anyone out there could help me. I am using Studio One 4 and everything is working properly but I don't know how to record the drums I make with audiorealism. Anyone out there could give me any advice?
Maybe it's something I will figure out with some time, but I'd like to know if I could get some help. Or if there's a video to check or if there's a manual where I could check that.

Hi Diego,

The ADM manual is here: https://www.audiorealism.se/uploads/4/5 ... manual.pdf

Here's a quick tutorial on Computer Music's cut down version of ADM: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Vy4-gEKFr8Y

With regard to your question, do you mean: a) how do you get ADM to play along with the rest of your track; or b) How do you record the audio output from ADM?

a) Getting ADM to play with rest of track

ADM requires midi input to play along with the rest of your track.

See pages 25 to 28 of the manual.

b) Recording ADM output

I'm not familiar with Studio One, but I would assume it has some sort of bounce track to audio function. Or have I misunderstood your question?

A quick search came up with many results. Here's an article from Sound on Sound magazine: https://www.soundonsound.com/techniques ... ncing-back

You could try asking at the Presonus forum: https://forums.presonus.com/index.php

BeyondMyDaw (I'm a regular poster there) has a Studio One sub-forum, and the natives are friendly and knowledgeable (probably more so than at the Presonus form): http://beyondmydaw.com/forum/forumdisplay.php?fid=18
