Here is the win32 commandline tool for dumping 909 patterns via sysex.
These can be directly imported into ADM by selected the dumped file with the import function in the option menu.

http://www.audiorealism.se/adm/sysex909.zip

Usage: Simply run the tool from commandline and follow the instructions. Default output filename for the dump is sysex909.syx, but may be overridden with a commandline argument.

Success and/or bug reports are welcome!

A couple questions -

1) Does this beta include the 909's External Instrument data in the sys-ex dump?

2) Are there any plans to make a Mac friendly version of this tool? The file is a .exe file type so I'm assuming it's just for PC now?

I'm very interested in this feature but can't find a way to try it out.

Hi Atomik,

Regarding question 1: I don't know. What this tool does is take the sysex dump that the 909 sends and stores it into a file. I assume if you're able to dump external instrument pattern data it would be included in the sysex dump but I haven't tried this.

Question 2: Its windows only, though I see no reason it wouldn't work in Parallels or Bootcamp if there is a Midi driver available.
