Poor Mike. Can't take a single breath until we are on his back, screaming for a new version. But I can't say you're wrong mate. I would love to see an update to ASM. It's absolutely brilliant, and any improvements what so ever, got all my attention.

not for modular but i would love to see a host unit for the audiorealism plugs, maybe something with a rudimentry sample player aswell that was lightweight and can be used to gig with.

Ok. Here is one good.

The latest incarnation of the Virus TI OS have one especially nifty feature in the patch editor. You can LOCK different parts. For example. You love the delay on one patch, and want to use it on another. You lock the delay FX and just go to the desired patch. Modulators, envelopes, oscillators. All can be treated this way.

And when I'm at it. Would be nice to have a way to disable the keyboard shortcuts in the plug. It interferes with my Cubase setup.

humm, let's see :
A "true" third oscillator ?
Some of the features of ABL2 like filter VCC, VCA click, output clipping etc...

But i'm already happy as it is, it's my favourite synth, so..

Ok. A few more suggestions.

Please make the lights for the sequencer (the ones that indicate which note is being played) brighter/larger. They are slightly hard to read now - and especially on larger screens.

And as I said before. A way to disable the ABL Pro keyboard shortcuts would be golden. I am practically saving manually every second minute or so - and when ABL Pro is up it always want me to save the patch instead.

Hmm. I have not used it that long but I would say it needs:

1. More envelopes: It would be useful to have an envelope that can be attached to the LFO, for delayed vibrato, or the OSC pitch that it can be free of the envelopes used for filter and Amplitude. Think of all the uses!! Very Happy

2. More Waveforms: 303ish waveforms are my favorite but I think they can be a bit harsh for pad sounds. I love the waveforms from old Curtis chips...they are the opposite of the 303 sound.

3. More sockets: perhaps on a rear panel where it wouldn't clutter the knobs and with proper labeling.

4. lastly the sound is very analog but a bit murky. I would to see the kind of improvement in sound I heard from ABL to ABL2. Way clearer, but no less rich and analog, in fact more!

all in all though, I would take this analog modeling sound over arturia or gforce... audiorealism has way more personality in the sound! Very Happy
