Hello,

in my point of view, it would be very useful, if you could devide the preferences tab in two parts.

1.) General preferences (general, Midi, Knob mode)
2.) Project preferences (tuning, filter mode, filter pref) should be stored in project file

Furthermore, the idea of supporting the sustain pedal is very good idea too.

For developing skins, it would be very useful, to specify the active area of a control. In this case, it would be possible to use larger or overlapping png's for the controls. So I could develop more realistic ones or faked 3D skins.

Furthermore it would be nice to have a free control without any sound control. I would use it as an tape control. Skin builders can define labels, which you can choose for every bassline, like "bassline 1", "lead 1""... Just for the overview if there are more than one ABL’s open in a project.

+1, but also per instance in each project. I like to fiddle with the Pre-Gain, Filter Vcc, and VCF Freq in the preferences panel, and sometimes have them set differently in each instance of a project.
