Hi, I am interested in buying thr ABL2 TB-303 emulator and have it on demo, it is good but there is a problem and I cannot find a way to stop it happening:

Around every 15 seconds or so the audio lowers in pitch and volume and then goes silent for a couple of seconds, then it comes back again from low to normal pitch and from low volume to normal.

It sounds like a tape recorder with the batteries dying and then coming back.

I have tried switching every control on and off, it is like there is a slide/fade out programmed that I cannot control.

Do you happen to know what this problem is please? if I hit a midi key on my keyboard after it has died in those few seconds, no audio is triggered.

I am trying to assess functionality and wondering if this is something to do with the fact I am doing the trial demo or not, or if there is a problem.

Many Thanks

Simon

Hi Simon,

It's a demo limitation, the full unlocked version doesn't pitch shift.

Thanks Mike but I are you sure the issue I experienced was the demo related pitch shift because this didn't happen every 5 minutes, it was a drop in level and pitch shift every 15 seconds or so, do you mean that it does this approx every 15 seconds but starts doing it after 5 mins or do you mean it only shifts once after 5 mins?

I am just trying to understand if there is a fault or if it is a demo lockout feature you have.

Many Thanks

Simon

It pitch shifts every 15 seconds after 5 minutes of unobstructed use.
