Hi Wibwub,

I am using ABL2.

I didn't knew that skins where available before I saw this corean site:
http://celluloide.tistory.com/entry/AudioRealism-Bassline-V2-skins

V2.1 skin "Beautiful Screen 2" is nice and like it really but who would not want to have a TB-303 skin or even a DevilFish edition??

For what I've red in the forum it looks like some skins are available for ABL2??

Julian

I think that most the links for alternative skins are dead in the Private Area.

But there's a beautiful skin made by Branis available below:

http://audiorealism.se/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?t=2064

The download link still works.

Somebody called KrimeMinister aka NoTrace has made a TB303 like skin for ABL2 available elsewhere if you google it. Although I've not tried it myself.

Thank you Wibwub,

It's a cool skin, a bit kind of an hybrid (ABL2, x0xb0x, Acidcode ML-303 like)

I will definitly look for a TB-303 skin, who knows...

Let's see.

Best,

Julian

i'll release this skin in a few days by the way. it's probably the most realistic one ever. although it's a bad timing, now that the better sounding ABL3 is out
Mad

click on it to see the full size. this skin will be at least three times bigger than the original user interface Smile

Wow! It looks fantastic. Very Happy

I'm sure there will still be plenty of takers - especially those with high resolution monitors.

Hi stefkon909. I tried sending a PM but it seems to have got stuck in my outbox.

I gave the skin a quick go and everything was working fine and looking fantastic.

Normally, I would say it's OK to post download links, although I don't work for Audiorealism - I'm just a very keen user. However, because your skin has "Roland" on it, Mike at Audiorealism might be a bit nervous about a link direct from this site. Roland can be quite aggressive in protecting their trademarks.

How about posting a link to your post at the sequencer.de forums?

KVR would also be a good place to post.

yes, i know that roland reacts fussy, when it comes to software, that tries to look exactly like the original counter part for what ever reasons. that's probably the reason why commercial software emulations have their own look!

apropos..i'll create a alternative Background texture with the ABL2 logo in the next days and a slightly smaller version too, for the folks that still own older 4:3 screens.

That would be great. Especially a slightly smaller version - I use a laptop with a 14" (sorry 35 cm) screen and I would love to be able to use your skin on older pre-ABL3 projects.

I've emailed your skin to Mike at his request.

It would be great if you are able to share your skin at the source.

ps I see that the PM seems to have been sent now.
