If you are intrested in Whirlwind Valley and Dailies in Blade & Soul, take a look at this article.

Whirlwind Valley: We are just going to ignore that this directly rewards people who have the proper gear. Instead, I want to bring up that this pvp damages your weapon. Didn't NCSoft learn from Arena? The amount of times you will die in PVP, particularly if you are ungeared and under skilled, will dissuade anyone from joining this mode. The only reason people join now seemingly, is for the HOPE that you can get the Daily Challenge done (or the over geared who join to stomp newbs). Now that doesn't seem very compelling from the perspective of ENJOYMENT.

Dailies: Nearly every single meaningful daily in Silverfrost has a minimum damage requirement to get loot credit. What is baffling is the dailies that don't have insane damage requirements such as BHS/NHS/BSC/E.Fleet are being made trivial after June 1st, as Siren/Pirate paths are going away. All materials will now come from Silverfrost Plains. So if you are a new player, and you have insignificant AP going for your weapon, good luck clawing your way into gear. Also, because of the way the game is made, so many people will go do a daily at a time. When you look at a place like SSP, where 30+ people are attacking the same mob at Prime Time, it is literally impossible to be rewarded for your time investment if you have suboptimal gear. You are sitting there being punished for participating in a game event, because you are likely dying, not getting loot, and your weapon is being damaged. This is terrible design. Should there be a minimum damage requirement? Sure, but it should be attainable by any reasonably geared player (someone with 380 AP SHOULD be able to get credit) when a boss with 37 million health dies in less than 15 seconds (have seen it die in 10). You don't have to increase the prestige people get (that should remain the icing on the cake for the geared players), just give them credit for the quest. I have not met someone who enjoys sitting in SSP for hours getting robbed of loot. I don't think I ever will meet someone like that.

For more information you can go to our site, you can buy blade and soul gold here as well.
